Sound familiar?
- We think we are fine, but nobody has actually checked.
- Our cyber insurance renewal asks questions we cannot answer.
- The person who set all this up has moved on, and we are not sure what we have.
- We have backups. We have never tried to restore from them.
What is included
- Email and identity review in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365: accounts, admin roles, 2-Step Verification or MFA coverage, sign-in settings, Drive or SharePoint sharing, and mail authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Backup review: what is backed up, where it goes, how long it is kept, and whether a restore has ever been tested.
- Network review: firewall, Wi-Fi, guest access, remote access and anything reachable from the internet.
- Device review on a representative sample: patch level, disk encryption, endpoint protection and local admin rights.
- Access review: former staff accounts, shared passwords and who can reach what.
- A one-hour walkthrough of the findings with you and anyone you want in the room.
What you receive at the end
- A plain-language written report. Every finding is rated by risk and by effort.
- A prioritized fix list: what to do this week, this quarter and this year.
- The report is yours to keep, whoever ends up doing the work.
Who it suits
- Offices with 5 to 50 staff and no full-time IT person.
- Teams facing a cyber insurance renewal or a security questionnaire from a client.
- Businesses that changed IT providers or lost the person who knew how everything worked.
What you need to provide
- Admin access to your email and identity platform. Read-only roles are used wherever the platform offers them.
- Access to the firewall and Wi-Fi management, or a guided screen share with whoever has it.
- About an hour with the owner or office manager, and 30 minutes with whoever handles IT today, if anyone.
- A list of the software and outside vendors the business depends on.
What happens after
The report comes with a fix plan. You choose what to do with it:
- Fix it yourselves, using the prioritized list.
- Hand the report to your current IT provider. It is written so they can act on it.
- Hire MMTech for a fixed-fee project on any part of it.
- There is no obligation. The assessment stands on its own.

IT assessment: common questions
Is this a formal audit or a compliance certification?
No. It is a practical review against widely used security baselines, written for the people who run the business. It can help you answer insurance and client questionnaires, but it does not certify compliance with any regulation.
Will it disrupt our work?
No. The assessment looks and reports. Nothing is changed in your systems during the review, and most of it happens without anyone in the office noticing.
Do you need to come on site?
In Carson City and Reno, a short on-site visit covers the network and Wi-Fi. Remote clients get the same review through guided screen shares.
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. $1,500 covers a typical 5 to 50 person business with one main location. If yours is larger or spread across several sites, you get a written quote before anything starts.
We already have an IT provider. Is that a problem?
Not at all. An independent review gives you and your provider the same clear list to work from.
